Winston William Fish, 78, sustained 'at least two' bites from the highly-venomous tiger snake, which also coiled itself around the victim's arm 'up to his neck,' a coroner's report said.

the reptile as a tiger snake and said Fish, who was still conscious, believed he had been bitten. The neighbors cut the snake's head off with a knife that was lying nearby.

"He was in a pretty bad way. The origins of the snake is still the biggest mystery of all. I am not aware of how many times the snake has bitten [Fish]. I saw an injury to his hand which looked like a bite. The area around his hand had gone black," he added.

It wasn't the snake fault. He doesn't know that he is one of the world's deadliest. He probably felt threatened or something.
