One of the big questions facing Biden is whether he will pick a running mate who's already aligned with him on ideology or a progressive figure to compensate for his more cautious instincts as he works to unite the Democratic Party ahead of the Nov. 3 election against President Donald Trump.
Biden has promised to pick a woman to be his vice president but has been mum about naming or confirming who he’s considering. Interviewed Thursday night on"The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," Biden said he's looking for someone"who can complement or make up for" his shortcomings and who"feels completely comfortable disagreeing" but will ultimately be aligned with him.
Others want Biden to pick a more middle-of-the-road running mate to solidify his support among moderate and suburban voters who aren't looking for major economic disruption.
Biden is an acceptable puppet to the 1%. He will not help us with the benefits and support we need, the same benefits every peer has in one form or another, like paid parental leave of 6 months, of medical care for all, forgivable higher ed loans, and more.

This is a good thing. Democrats can be too cerebral (if we are talking about campaigns in a marketing sense). Republicans do better because they brand by feelings rather than debate. And the masses respond easier to that short attention bullshit. Keep Joe’s message simple.

Biden really needs Warren at his side. She's got tons of political experience & doesn't back down from trump or issues that need solving. Her ideas for healing the US are timely, rational and doable. Economics ecology, family, women's rights, education ,she's on it America

Losers don't get to dictate policies to the winner. The American people rejected those policies. Why would Joe embrace them? Would you expect Warren to embrace Joe's policies, if she were the nominee? Not a chance.
After his gaffe yesterday, Biden is now almost certain to pick a black woman to make amends to the black community. Which is a shame because he badly needs the progressive vote to win.
