By Marissa J. Lang Marissa J. Lang Local reporter focused on D.C. area news Email Bio Follow April 29 at 7:11 PM When a group of self-avowed white nationalists interrupted an author chat Saturday at bookstore Politics and Prose with a megaphone and chants of “This land is our land,” workers were surprised — but not unprepared.
The group, which formed last month and is headquartered in the Washington area, is considered by several organizations that track hate groups to be a rebranded version of Identity Evropa, an organization that has sought to recruit college students and young conservatives to join its ranks through posters and online propaganda, according to the Anti-Defamation League.
“Disruptions like this are a great way for us to insert our ideas into the discussion on race and identity,” he said in an interview. “We knew it would be a provocative and bold thing to do, to go into what we felt like is the other side’s territory and get people talking about us.” Revolution Books in Berkeley, Calif., a regular target of far-right activists, tweeted a statement in support of Politics and Prose.
“We’re going to burn down your bookstore. You know that, right?” demonstrator Rob Cantrall said in a video taken by bookstore staff.
That sounds like white nationalists; targeting a store because it sells books.
So do extremely violent democrat Antifa
Tell them stop ... Let them know these places are open to everyone, so they too can learn to read ...
Graf 26: Despite the uptick, protests remain infrequent.
Good people on both aisles now?
Well sure, if you can’t read, those places are intimidating.
The Washington Post's bias is insane. If you support this you are screwed. It's just a matter of time before this type of propaganda is turned on you.
Stupid
This sounds more like DSA & Antifa tactics... Targeting people and shouting them down in restaurants, homes, and universities by Leftists has been on full display for all to see. Many of these incidents included violence perpetrated by the Leftists.
White supremacists.
VeryFakeNews

Black nationalists target bookstores, libraries in protests nationwide
These places should have a few of these on hand for situations like this.
Ironic since the vast majority of white nationalists can't read
They dont read so why else would they be in a bookstore
Labels of people of color,,,hypocrisy
I have to admit, Langley is finally showing some creativity for once.
Consequences of immoral political strategy targeting primeval tribal instincts, to win elections.
Makes sense they would attack the citadels of fact, reality and the opportunity to learn something.
In the age of Amazon all you can find in bookstores is drag queens and white nationalists.
Terrorists.
If it's not nipped in the bud, they're going to start going beyond 'protests' and start burning & ransacking.
Are they beefing about the way being made for them by the forces that hold down the lives of black families? Educate me....
They’re afraid of knowledge
