As another week in lockdown has come and gone, the temperatures are rising and the holiday of the summer is upon us. Time to turn to Instagram to see what hot weather outfit inspo the celebs have created for us. Take Bella Hadid, who had a mod moment in a slinky shirt dress with groovy flower prints on them. To fit the mood, the model opted for a ’60s flouncy hair style with a bouquet of flowers.
Also on the radar is rapper Princess Nokia. She posted a photo of her and her beau that tugged at the heartstrings, while also showing off what we should add to our wardrobes. While being embraced, she wore a tank top and patchwork shorts, and opted for a New York Yankees cap that matched her significant other’s. In other words: chicly adorable.
Even if you weren’t looking for a lesson on how to match your look to your surroundings, there is one floating around on Instagram courtesy of Kim Kardashian West repping one big glorious beige palette. This past week, she reclined on a beige couch wearing a navel-baring beige off-the-shoulder-top while sporting a pair of saucy beige chaps. Who would have known that beige could be captivating?
Rowan Blanchard shook up the at-home outfit formula as well. The actor was looking quite angelic — literally — with a pair of delicate angel wings that she wore with sturdy black cowboy boots. It sure beat the lockdown uniform of jeans and a T-shirt. And to really leave you with some bright vibes this week, there is model Leomie Anderson. She hung out on a patch of fresh grass in a fuchsia slip dress and white sneakers. She accessorized the look with sunglasses and Chanel double-C earrings. Her caption summed up this outfit, and a stellar outlook on life, perfectly: “Never dim your light so others can feel comfortable, be the most opulent version of yourself you can possibly be.” Will be taking this philosophy with us, too.
