Kenna Security has raised a $48 million funding in a Series D funding round, the company confimed to Business Insider.
The round is led by Sorensen Capital and Citi Ventures and values the company at more than $300 million, the source said. Cyber is a red hot area for investment, with 2018 a record year for venture capital firms investing in the sector. Cyber companies raised over $5.3 billion last year, according to Strategic Cyber Ventures, up from 20% in the year prior.
