Writer/director Faust's feature directorial debut will bow at Fantastic Fest later this week, ahead of a day-and-date release in November. Faust also stars in the film shot in northern Ontario. Thorne plays a young woman who returns to her small hometown intent on killing her abusive father, only to discover someone else got to him first. As she searches for answers, the young woman uncovers a family legacy more dangerous than imagined.The film was produced by Thomas Michael, Shayne Putzlocher and Sara Shaak and executive produced by Jason Moring, Dave Duckett, Joe Ferraro, Jean Pierre Magro, Al Morrison, Lee Nelson, David Tish, Seth Needle and Conor McAdam.
The deal was negotiated by Seth Needle, senior vp of global acquisitions and co-productions for Screen Media, with Jason Moring, president and CEO, and Mark Padilla, senior vp of sales & acquisitions at Double Dutch International negotiating on behalf of the filmmakers.
