called out Instagram for "bullying" after the social media platform deleted an Instagram Story slide she had made featuring a snapshot of her father's passport.the model had initially posted a pic of her father's, Mohamed Anwar Hadid, passport on Instagram Stories. In Bella's snap, Hadid's birthplace was listed as Palestine, which she duly noted in her small caption.slide addressing its removal on Tuesday, July 7.
“Instagram removed my story that only said ‘My baba And his birthplace of Palestine’ with a photograph of his American passport,” Bella wrote over a screenshot of the Instagram guidelines explaining why her post was removed. “@instagram exactly what part of me being proud of my father’s [birthplace] of Palestine is ‘bullying, harassment, graphic or sexual nudity?' Are we not allowed to be Palestinian on Instagram? This, to me, is bullying," she continued.
1) The part of her being proud to be an umpteenth-generation 'refugee' is offensive, especially considering her financial situation. 2) There is no such country as Palestine.
The passport read Palestine. That cannot be! That place is Israel now they said. But under the stones of forgotten towns, the earth still breaths the name of Palestine.
