This is what a century of climate change has done to Patagonia’s glaciers. Chilean explorer Cristian Donoso has recreated photos of glaciers that were taken over a century ago to show how much they've melted -- and, in some cases, disappeared CallToEarth

Call to Earth is a CNN initiative in partnership with Rolex. Cristian Donoso is a Rolex Associate Laureate.

Chilean explorer and photographer, Cristian Donoso, has spent over two decades traversing the wilds of Patagonia, Antarctica and the Arctic to capture images showing the impacts of climate change. Donoso's exploration career began in 1996 in the rugged mountains, towering glaciers and windswept fjords of Patagonia, where the challenge to survive gave him a profound love of the landscape. "When you are on an expedition you must connect strongly with nature, open your senses to the fullest, because your survival depends on it," he says."And in that survival, you are deeply aware of the natural world, you marvel, and your soul tells you that this is extraordinary.

Hide Caption 1 of 10 Photos: When Donoso and expedition partner Alfredo Pourailly visited in 2018, there was no sign of the Marinelli glacier from the same vantage point at the same time of year. Hide Caption 2 of 10 Photos: Patagonia's ice fields make up the largest body of ice outside of Antarctica and looked very different when de Agostini explored the region over a century ago.Hide Caption 3 of 10 Photos: In 2018, Patagonia's Ainsworth Bay was ice free.

Sally Yates looks foolish terrifying and it’s obvious Obama Biden administration used its powers to attack a political rivals namely president trump. Just helping cnn out since they are refusing to cover it. Talk about constitutional crisis! Yates is the first of many to come

It's a lie. That has nothing to do with climate change

No science here. Glaciers have been melting for centuries. Has nothing to do with man's activities. Glaciers used to come all the way south to where Chicago is. The Great Lakes were formed after the glaciers started retreating centuries ago. Each year a little smaller.

Evidence Shows National Weather Service Failed To Stop Devastating Storm Despite Having Advance WarningSILVER SPRING, MD—Calling the deadly winds and torrential rain a “totally preventable” tropical storm, critics slammed the National Weather Service Wednesday after new evidence showed they failed to stop a recent hurricane despite having advanced warning. “It’s clear they’d been monitoring the cloud formation swirling off the Atlantic coast for days, but did absolutely nothing to destroy it before it made landfall,” said local government agent Francine Landis, noting that the storm, which flooded towns and toppled homes, might never have even touched down on the East Coast had the bureau successfully mobilized. “Given their Doppler radar images, the NWS had more than enough information to find and kill the storm once and for all. The truth is, their gross negligence is probably why this system grew from a Category 1 to a Category 4 hurricane in the first place.” At press time, the National Weather Service rebuked the report, stating that they had actually stopped countless cyclones, tornadoes, and typhoons but could not release details for national security reasons.\n Could’ve nuked it when we had a chance. That is not there job at all. The weather service can predict when a storm is coming but it can no way 'prevent' it. Its up to folks to make preparatons based on what they say. Learn Chy-Nah planted the storm. It's all their fault.
