Fly Thinks Back Fondly On Time It Got To Perch On Popsicle Stick For Few SecondsSOUTH HADLEY, MA—Recalling the joyful experience from its youth, a local fly reportedly reminisced Tuesday about the time it had gotten to perch on a popsicle stick for a few seconds. “Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had my share of adventures in this crazy world, but no matter where my travels take me, I’ll always cherish that long-ago memory of alighting on a slightly damp wooden stick and taking a couple of steps,” said the fly, telling reporters that while it knew it was probably looking back on the experience with rose-colored glasses, it truly believed there was something magical about the taste of the cherry flavor on its feet. “I’ve tried explaining the simple wonder of high fructose corn syrup to some of today’s maggots, but they just don’t understand—for them, the world begins and ends with the rotting cheeseburger they grew up in. They think I’m a sentimental old fool, and heck, I suppose I am.” At press time, the fly was reflecting bittersweetly on the high highs and low lows of life after being sprayed with bleach. ...nothing but shit since then... I remember that. Happy days. Imagine going from eating ice cream to literally eating shit, you will never forget any of those 2 experiences

Australia isolates virus-prone state, Serbs oppose lockdownAustralia has isolated the state of Victoria in a bid to contain the worsening spread of the coronavirus as the city of Melbourne prepared for its second lockdown, an example of a resurgent disease in places that initially succeeded in taming it. But hey, let’s use a report from April claiming it’s okay to send our kids back to school in person I live here, its because barely anyone wore masks and were in cafe's and bars and restaurants and not taking it seriously. Yeah, it’s not going away. It will never go away. It’s a new virus from the same family as the common cold. It will always be with us. These lockdowns only serve to lessen strain in ICUs. Eventually, we all get it. Maybe we just open up and get it over with.
