The Santiago Zoo in Chile presented to the public its newest resident, a baby male giraffe weighing almost 100 kilograms and measuring 2 meters

The baby giraffe was presented to the public on Wednesday and the zoo has launched a contest to help pick the new giraffe's name.A baby giraffe, which was born in captivity, is displayed in its enclosure for the first time to the public, at the metropolitan park Zoo in Santiago, Chile, June 29, 2022. "A giraffe birth is always going to be good news, it's a species and subspecies that face a high threat level," said Andrea Caiozzi, general coordinator of the zoo.
