DISTRESSING CONTENT: Azelia Banks sparked concern earlier this week when she dug up her dead cat before creating an altar with her pet's remains

Over the past few days, the 29-year-old musician left social media stunned when she appeared to dig up her dead pet before allegedly boiling his remains.In one of her latest Instagram stories, the 212 artist revealed that she had carefully put together a number of objects in what seems to be an altar featuring the cat skull.

The clip features a bottle of champagne, Chanel No. 5 perfume as well as a $100 note and what appears to be a cigar and a cruxifix resting in a pink pot around the skull.Alongside video, Azelia wrote "The move is booked. We're officially out of this b****."

Azealia's latest posts come shortly after she shared a now-deleted video that saw her dig up the carcass of her late feline.Fans were then later left in disbelief as the singer appeared to boil the corpse in a large pot over a stove.Viewers of the videos - that have since been taken down - appeared to raise concern for the artist over the stunt.

In response to the clips, one follower wrote: “My stomach is in my mouth right now.”“Gosh, the poor girl is obviously dealing with a lot. Stop the hate guys,” added another.Azealia has since claimed on her Instagram story that it was all for 'taxidermy' reasons, and is currently in the process of cleaning the skull of her cat with chemicals.
