A still from an animation shows the Lunatron placing newly formed regolith bricks on the surface of the moon.While there are a number of other companies and universities experimenting with using regolith to build infrastructure, one NASA official said that what makes Astroport's efforts promising is that it doesn’t rely on other materials.
"First, we developed a way to make the bricks, and now we're developing a way to do the construction process," said Sam Ximenes, Astroport's CEO.
