I don't use Facebook and Messenger, but I do use WhatsApp with message encryption and additional fingerprint protection. 😎⚔️🛡️ .... and yet freely passes over private user information and forces users to allow access to their phone address book records with links to Facebook. Give us a break! It may have been private once but with Facebook an owner now, trust nothing WhatsApp
