Arizona Republican businessman and pro-Trump United States Senate primary challenger Daniel McCarthy proposed annexing Mexico, telling a radio host that 30 million illegal immigrants and"half the country" already want to be U.S. citizens.
McCarthy, a cosmetic company executive from Glendale, announced his Republican primary candidacy against incumbent Senator Marthalate last month and demanded someone with"authenticity and integrity" take the U.S. Senate seat formerly occupied by longtime Senator John McCain. McCarthy toldGarret Lewis last week that the people of Mexico shouldn't have to live in dire conditions, and he called on Mexican citizens to"petition to become U.S. states.
After building President Donald Trump's proposed border wall, the U.S. could benefit from some new"beachfront property" south of the border, McCarthy quipped. A post published Friday on the"Demand Daniel for U.S. Senate" Facebook page suggested he supports"annexing the D.C. Swamp to Mexico.", citing Article IV, Section 3, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution's stipulations for admitting new states.
"There's a reason they're coming here," he said of migrants crossing the border illegally."Now listen, we need to have a border wall immediately, and then after that then we can start talking about maybe some solutions." Arizona GOP businessman and pro-Trump U.S. Senate primary challenger Daniel McCarthy proposed annexing Mexico, telling a radio host that 30 million illegal immigrants and"half the country" already want to be U.S. citizens.Despite McCarthy's pro-Trump campaign message, the president has already endorsed Republican incumbent.
Is this guy serious? Let SenMcSallyAZ focus on Democrat challenger. Maybe run against SenatorSinema.
Cosmetic executive knows about immigrants? Hmmmm....
That also shows us that business persons should not be in government. State matters are for politicians and social workers.
They have basically been financed by the United States for decades either over the table or under the table... maybe we can have California adopt the Mexican peso?
Somalians want to become US citizens. Lets give them US citizenship. Lets take advantage of the good heart of this politician.
How do you think we got half of Texas? One day the people were Mexican with a long history ,and traditions.....
After I read the headline about annexing Mexico I knew this guy had to be a Republican.
That would add an extra 130 million people and 32 states to the union. That means 64 more senators, who probably will not be GOP-friendly and most every current state giving up 1 or 2 reps. Guessing he didn't think about that.
This will never ever happen, period. Mexican history, culture are totally different. Mexican population is almost 130 million, only a very small % would like to migrate. USA WILL NEVER EVER TRY TO ANEXATE MÉXICO. MCARTHY IS IGNORANT AND STUPID.
Stupid!
Wow. Just wow.
Please do and when Mexico laughs at him for trying it will just be another example of why EVERYONE SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND EMBARRASSED TO CALL THEMSELVES AN AMERICAN!
Making Mexicans citizens via annexation of Mexico may spell extinction of the Republican Party. 🤔 I’m getting lightheaded. Too excited...
The arrogance and ignorance of the right knows no bounds.
The US already did.
He talks about the Mexican government being corrupt. Apparently he hasn't noticed that about our current administration...
Now war with Mexico? Or can you just threaten them into giving you their country? Trump-in-training? Wtf
Taking a “wild” guess he’s a Republican... What a “punchable” face. (If Paul Ryan and Jared Kushner had a baby, it’d be this guy.)
We don't annex anything. We move our troops through, improving the roads, and making everything a state. We set up voting and wipe out the gangs. We leave when social programs are set up and the have a governor and elected reps.
Pinche pendejo payaso
So beach boy looking...
He must’ve been serious too 🙄
