'All of us — individuals, companies, and governments — are going to have to change our behaviors to end the climate emergency.' –ArizonaMuse

Sometimes it feels like if you believe in action on climate change, you cannot do anything right. Unless you throw away your iPhone, turn vegan, stop using toilet paper, and move to the middle of nowhere, it is just impossible not to be on the receiving end of a lot of hate.

I love the beauty of nature and I desperately don’t want that destroyed for myself, my children, fellow humans, and other species. So I try really, really hard to do my best for the planet. I also fail every single day. I take too many flights; occasionally I get my nails done; there’s plastic on some of the household necessities I buy; I don’t know my exact carbon footprint; and I still eat meat, though a lot less than I used to. All of that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t keep trying.

As for clothes, these days I buy less, and what I do buy is often secondhand. If an item is new, I make sure that the materials are sustainable and that those behind the brand care about other people.

ArizonaMuse Well yes, going vegan would be great!

ArizonaMuse Amazing (no) how individuals, governments and companies are considered in a similar position in regard of climate impact/action.
