Ariana Grande took to social media to reflect on her experience at the Black Lives Matter protest in Los Angeles.

Ariana Grande arrives at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards at the Staples Center on Jan. 26, 2020, in Los Angeles.took to the streets of Los Angeles over the weekend, joining the Black Lives Matter protest in the wake of George Floyd's death.

The superstar reflected on her experience at the protest in a number of tweets on Sunday , writing,"Hours and miles of peaceful protesting yesterday that got little to no coverage. all throughout beverly hills and west hollywood we chanted, people beeped and cheered along. we were passionate, we were loud, we were loving. cover this too please."

About an hour later, Grande sent another thoughtful message filled with love to anyone protesting across the country."Stay active, stay energized, keep sharing, keep learning," she tweeted."Sending strength and if you are protesting today please be safe."and tagged Black Lives Matter, the movement's L.A.-based arm and ally organization White People 4 Black Lives.

Candid photos of Grande's participation in the protest were also quick to circulate across social media. In the snaps, the pop singer wore an oversized black-and-yellow sweater and face mask while carrying a handwritten cardboard sign emblazoned with"Black Lives Matter" in black Sharpie. Throughout the weekend, Ari continually used her platform to advocate for change, urging her fans to register to vote and contact their lawmakers through her #thankunextgen initiative, sign petitions and talk to their loved ones about racial injustice.hours and miles of peaceful protesting yesterday that got little to no coverage.we were passionate, we were loud, we were loving.
