Federal investigators probing the death of a U.S. Capitol Police officer killed in the Jan. 6 riot have zeroed in on a suspect seen on video appearing to spray a chemical substance on the officer before he later collapsed and died, two people told AP.

FILE - In this Feb. 2, 2021, file photo a placard is displayed with an image of the late U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick on it as people wait for an urn with his cremated remains to be carried into the U.S. Capitol to lie in honor in the Capitol Rotunda in Washington. Federal investigators probing the death Sicknick, a U.S. Capitol Police officer killed in the Jan.

Investigators initially believed that Sicknick was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher, based on statements collected early in the investigation, according to one of the people and another law enforcement official briefed on the case. But as they’ve collected more evidence, the theory of the case has evolved and investigators now believe Sicknick may have ingested a chemical substance — possibly bear spray — during the riot that may have contributed to his death, the officials said.

The circumstances surrounding Sicknick’s death remain unclear and a final cause of death has not yet been determined. Capitol Police have said he died after he was injured “while physically engaging with protesters” and this week, the agency’s acting chief said officials consider it a line-of-duty death.

So not killed by a flying fire extinguisher then? So not suicide then? So not murdered by his own unit for being on the wrong political side? So not murdered in cold blood by a white supremacy gang In MAGA hats? We are supposed to buy this weeks statement because why?

So, bear spray doesn’t kill you. It’s actually not as strong as the stuff that Ofc. Sicknick likely had on his duty belt at the time. Most law enforcement grade OC/CN/CS sprays are WAY worse. The bear spray just shoots farther. THATS IT. None of this makes any sense.

Just hope no Body Cam footage surfaces with this Officer arresting a black person.

They’re coming for you mate. You run, but you can’t hide.

Trump terrorists already planning 2nd storm. this time it's some kind of spray. next time they'll be supplied with novichok

It better be a murder charge anything less is unacceptable.

Why hasn't the medical examiner zeroed in on the cause of death .

More media lies

Whoever this is needs to spend a long time in jail.

They murdered a child

This is the part I don’t get. You hear all the time that if a group commits a crime & 1 shoots & kills someone, they are all charged with murder. Why is the killing of Officer Brian Sicknick any different?

Follow 4 follow back

He died a day later

🙄 how about we see actual facts instead of more gaslighting. Newsrooms and media are disgustingly irresponsible for the way they have tried to shape a narrative....

I'm pretty sure they said they were making America great again..

I sure hope they catch the monster.

Ricin?

FBI insurrection

They are all an accessory to his murder.

Please get his ass.
