MIAMI — A retired Venezuelan army general indicted alongside Nicolás Maduro has surrendered in Colombia and is being taken by Drug Enforcement Administration agents to New York for arraignment, four people familiar with the situation said Friday. Alcalá was being flown on a chartered plane to the U.S. from Barranquilla, Colombia, after waiving an extradition hearing and agreeing to collaborate with prosecutors, said the four people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss actions that had not yet been made public.

After being indicted Thursday, Alcalá shocked many by claiming responsibility for a stockpile of U.S.-made assault weapons and military equipment seized on a highway in Colombia for what he said was a planned incursion into Venezuela to remove Maduro. Without offering evidence, he said he had a contract with opposition leader Juan Guaidó and his “American advisers” to purchase the weapons.

aishaharris629 I call bullsh•t. The Trump administration is a bunch of thieves trying a new tactic to steal Venezuela’s oil. Just their latest gimmick after their failed coup with their stupid puppet, Juan Guaidó.

El Cartel de los Soles

fitethegoodfite Probably get sanctuary and a SNAP card.

Yesssss

Finally justice is there venezuela

Coronavirus presses them out. Chinese has plenty of info abt their whereabout. Interesting on their surrender.

I’m sure he already has a plea deal in the bag, before the indictments went forward. The Feds are at it again

Why would Columbia let DEA thugs enter their country?

Why would he do that? Any order or indictment from the profoundly corrupt and illegitimate Trump* Regime isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Trump* should be taken into custody by The International Court of Justice on bioterrorism charges for withholding aid during a pandemic.

Place blame for drug trafficking where it belongs: SQUARELY ON THE SHOULDERS OF US DRUG USERS WHO SINGLE-HANDEDLY FUND THE CARTELS. Without demand, there would be no reason for cartels to exist. The US should legalize, tax and regulate all drugs to stop narcoterrorism.

Good news for the people of Venezuela. It'll be great when Maduro is captured.

I see what y'all are doing... 2001 all over again... Name sources... Running with unsubstantiated information..

Dawnsfire He’ll just not make bail and be released anyway.

Tanks good news!

Weird, isn't there a Navy ship docking near by?

Yeah, NYC. Watch he gets Coronavirus and dies

It's not a Secret it's a Science. Check this OUT!!

A defiant Maduro threatens 'cowboy' Trump after drug chargeMIAMI (AP) — Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro stood defiant in the face of a $15 million bounty by the U.S. to face drug trafficking charges, calling Donald Trump a “racist cowboy” and warning... Its Amazing the US is accusing him of being involved in exactly what the USA has been doing for decades in Central and South America, yet this leader told them to get fucked, now they want him arrested? Good, the world should unite behind Maduro and against US imperialism. He should indict trump for being a war criminal, holding kids in cages, corruption, etc.
