An AP investigation finds some guns stolen from the U.S. military end up on America’s streets, where they’re used in violent crimes. The military sometimes doesn't know for years that a firearm is missing.

This does not instill a lot of confidence in me regarding the competency of our military. How about the bosses get off their fat asses and spend some of the hundreds of billions of dollars given to them annually, to improve their security & storage systems regarding this matter.

kevrector Ask Eric Holder-he might know about it?

Not surprised at all, in fact I knew an armorer in the army who literally got popped for selling weapons. What's surprising is that it is only getting reported on just now.

It's like an episode of Line of Duty

Hard to believe. In the Marines, back in the day, the squad leader had to know the serial numbers of everyone's weapon. So the squad leader knows right away but the military doesn't know for months. Something is not right.

Guns were being stolen from the ATF storage facility, too.

Oh, they mist be bieng sold, ir given to people, there’s now way a streest criminal can break into and steal from govt property....

A similar challenge we are having in SA the criminals are armed and dangerous while govt want to disarm the law abiding citizens it's beggars belief

total coincidence I'm sure

'stolen'

Thats bull

How many guns were confiscated from the DC armed insurrection? Who killed the unarmed female rioter that was crawling through a window? Who are the individuals who are still in custody and what are their charges? Any curiosity? No, not for the ruling class propagandists.

AP: Some stolen US military guns used in violent crimesPulling a pistol from his waistband, the young man spun his human shield toward police. “Don’t do it!” a pursuing officer pleaded. The young man complied, releasing the bystander and tossing the gun, which skittered across the city street and then into the hands of police. Imagine if missiles that's been stolen. Shoot, no one told me I could have kept my weapons when I left the Army.😦 But we’ve known about this for years!

AP Interview: Former president says US failed in AfghanistanThe U.S. and NATO troops leave Afghanistan having failed in their mission, former president Hamid Karzai says in an AP interview. Karzai said extremism is at its highest point nearly 20 years after the intervention began following the 9/11 attacks. KarzaiH Afghans take responsibility! What did you do during your long reign? Freeloading is not for life! Grow Up Hamid & rest of you gimme & self serving “leaders” - real leaders bring real change, as for puppets, they remain meaningless & the nation (as in people) suffer! We failed for good by about 2008. We needed to build infrastructure and get it stabilized quickly so the public would've adapted, and we attacked Iraq instead. Bush failed the entire Middle East the moment he picked that fight. It may not be a success but i doubt you can call that a failure! Befoee we got there, men and women used to have their head chopped off in public at a soccer stadium among the many other horrifying things we used to witness

Unfortunately, the police are DEFUNDED and I am not sure if they can launch an INVESTIGATION. Civilians might have to fight for themselves with firearms as well.

AP PHOTOS: On patrol with police in Paris' tough suburbsViolent rivalries have long been part of the policing geography in the tough Paris-region neighborhoods where inequalities and hardship are often more common than good jobs and opportunities. Police say that fighting wasn’t always as savage as it is now. When governments keep giving free housing, there is no incentive for to get up in the morning to go to work, or to find employment. You make your own equities when obligations cease. Moveable feast.
