, Professor of Sociology and Director of the Northwestern Network and Neighborhood Initiative, Northwestern UniversityBocanegra oversees the management and implementation of READI Chicago’s evidence-based and trauma-informed program to reduce gun violence and promote safety and opportunity in the city. As a pioneer in the field, Bocanegra brings years of experience in community-based organizations and programs created to address trauma and build resiliency among those most impacted by violence.
Lisa D. Daniels is an advocate, leader, and speaker in the field of restorative justice who helps individuals and families find healing in the aftermath of violence and crime. She is the founder of the Darren B. Easterling Center for Restorative Practices, a nonprofit organization that offers behavior health and trauma-recovery services to Chicago’s most underserved communities.
Harris currently serves as the Community Policing Sergeant in Austin’s 15th District of the Chicago Police Department. Over his 16-year law enforcement career, he has worked exclusively in the Englewood, Austin, and Garfield Park communities. Born on the west side of Chicago, Sergeant Harris served in the United States Marine Corps.
Sociologist Papachristos’ research aims to understand how the connected nature of cities – how their citizens, neighborhoods, and institutions are tied to one another – affect what we feel, think, and do. His main area of research applies network science to the study of gun violence, police misconduct, illegal gun markets, street gangs, and urban neighborhoods.

That's why it's difficult for me to understand why people continue to expose their families to this dangerous area. Get 'em out!
