Joe Biden is being pulled in two directions. His allies say he wants a bipartisan deal on infrastructure, but Democrats are amping up the pressure for him to ditch negotiations and start the budget reconciliation process

: Sen. Shelley Moore Capito and President Joe Biden are expected to meet this afternoon in what is likely one of their last chances to strike a deal on a plan to rebuild the nation’s crumbling infrastructure. No pressure, right?told reporters aboard Air Force One that this coming week is “incredibly critical” for the infrastructure plan. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said the Biden administration needs a “clear direction” next Monday, June 7.

Earlier this year, Manchin criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for making an appearance on a local West Virginia television station to discuss Biden’s coronavirus relief bill. “I saw [the interview]. I couldn’t believe it. No one called me,” Manchin told WSAZ. "That’s not a way of working together.”Sen.

He is not capable of handling ONE Direction. Good Luck with those results.

Screw bipartisanship! Get this thing done!

The conservative base won't give a $*% if an agreement is in any way 'bipartisan'. They'll take credit and blame Biden at the same time. Biden needs to focus on wins that matter to the other 60% of Americans and just get it done, wins Dems can run on in the future. AmericaFirst

Republicans do not want to pay for things.

Ah, it's so nice to get back to 'normal politics'.

Two directions? Not sure any president has dealt with as many identity factions since Lincoln, maybe USA should be retitled ISA, and Biden marginalized as a cigender male white master.

There is no such thing as ‘bipartisan’ anymore. END THE FILIBUSTER NOW

Here is a thought, a “infrastructure” deal that actually is for infrastructure. I guess dementia is a cognitive blocker of this novel idea It hasn’t worked in the last two decades. I’m sorry but we can’t ever think they will do what is right & will! It's happening regardless
