"I'm going to tell them there's an African American man threatening my life," Cooper said in the video that has now been watched more than 45 million times. The incident was widely considered to be racially motivated, and the next day, Franklin TempletonAmy Cooper, a white woman who falsely told police a Black bird-watcher was threatening her in Central Park, is suing her former company for firing her over the incident.
Ah, Amy Cooper. Doubling down on her white privilege. How dare anybody label her racist rant as racist! They must be the racists for not respecting her equality as a white woman. Equal whites for all.
This is one sure way to combat racism...make it costly for all who do this type of nonsense.
