As a black American and medical doctor, I understand where this fear originates and have written a piece that I believe speaks to this fear and its origins.
The virus infects everyone equally. Social distancing, aka, get out the virus’s way, is the only prevention that is currently known. Please don’t racialize Corona. It isn’t even a living thing, let alone something that treats us differently based on our own perceived biases.
