According to DownDetector, a service that tracks online outages, nearly 27,00 Amazon outages were reported Tuesday around noon, and over 11,000 were reported around the same time for AWS. According to the website, Disney+, McDonald’s, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Prime Music, Amazon Alexa and Ring—which all use AWS—were also experiencing outages.

Amazon Web Services reported increased error rates in North America starting at around 11:30 a.m. on itsAmazon wrote on the dashboard that it identified the cause of the outage and is ”actively working towards recovery.”
