Seven months after her husband Nick Cordero died from COVID-19, 'The Talk' co-host and fitness instructor Amanda Kloots posted a selfie on Instagram Friday showing herself in the car with a mask and her bandaged arm hanging outside the window.

Cordero, who earned a Tony Award nomination in 2014 for his role in"Bullets Over Broadway," was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in late March 2020 for what was initially thought to be pneumonia and turned out to be a severe case of COVID-19. For more than 3 months, Cordero battled the virus in the ICU before succumbing to the virus in July.

Kloots regularly shared updates to her followers via social media on the ups and downs of her husband's recovery. In July 2020 she her husband had died,"surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth." Since his passing Kloots has been public on social media about mourning Cordero's death. In a post marking seven months since her husband's death she wrote,"Emotionally speaking I have recognized that I’m not doing so great with my grief right now."Kloots recently joined"The Talk" in January as a co-host alongside Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Carrie Ann Inaba and Elaine Welteroth.

"I am thrilled and honored to join this incredible cast and crew," Kloots said in a statement."I look forward to starting off the new year with honest and thought-provoking discussions, mixed with plenty of fun and laughter too."

I don’t understand how some people would rather have the Covid-19 shots go into the garbage can than in someone ‘s arm. This woman has been through the wringer with the death of her husband . Cut her some slack and be happy for her and her son. No shot should be going to waste .

BOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Good for her. Let’s just give the vaccine to anybody who wants it Vaccines are being thrown away and too many appointments are being wasted when there are people that want the vaccine can’t get appointments

I owe you an apology to ever doubt your sincerity and professionalism. It’s was just like a dream to me when I received my first payment. After my second payment it became a reality now after several payments it has become a way of life. SamuelEddy_

How THE HELL did a young healthy woman get a vaccine before an older woman with health issues? SHAME ON HER AND THE LACK OF OVERSIGHT!!

Amanda Kloots Gets COVID-19 Vaccine 7 Months After Husband's Death and Defends Herself From Critics - E! OnlineThe Talk co-host Amanda Kloots, whose husband Nick Cordero died of coronavirus complications, got a COVID-19 vaccine and then fired back at critics who questioned how she got one. And people bitched at her that she got it. She waited till the end of the scheduled appointment time . Many sites have extra at the end of their day. Free to whoever is there . I would do the same thing. Shame on whoever tried to troll on her. Amanda does not need to defend or apologize for anything. She is amazing and I am so happy that she was able to get the vaccine. I wish all family members who have been affected by COVID-19 had priority. 🙏 Wonder how UK is dealing with 'leftover doses—which would have expired soon otherwise'?
