Alicia Witt to Star in Slave Thriller 'Alice' (Exclusive)

, has joined the feature filmWitt will star opposite Keke Palmer, Jonny Lee Miller, Common and Gaius Charles in writer-director Ver Linden’s period slave thriller. She will play the role of Rachel, the former owner of Alice who values the rigid societal hierarchies of the Antebellum South.

The character-driven thriller tells the story of a woman of servitude who escapes the 55-acre confines of her captor to discover the shocking reality that exists beyond the tree line -- that it’s 1973.
