As people travel to visit loved ones for the holiday season, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland is warning that unruly passengers on flights will not be tolerated and may face prosecution.
He urged all 52 U.S. attorney's offices to prioritize the prosecution of federal crimes that"endanger the safety of passengers, flight crews, and flight attendants."On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the Transportation Security Administration screened 2.3 million people, according to an agency spokesperson.
Representatives from the Justice Department and FAA began meeting in August, according to a joint statement,"to develop an efficient method for referring the most serious unruly-passenger cases for potential criminal prosecution."
As harsh a treatment as some of those “unruly visitors” to the Capitol Jan 6 have received? Or the “harsh repercussions” the “organizers” of same have received to date? Oh…they must be “shaking in their Jack Boots” at the thought of it…

Garland’s proclamation regarding disruptive airline passengers is as mealy-mouthed as his prosecution of the 1/6 traitors. Would he add “People who rob banks and kill bank guards may face prosecution.”? He seems very selective about what constitutes a crime!
