celebrating the headphone jack in the Pixel 5A that parodied Apple’s elaborate design videos. That video was titled, in part, “The Circle Comes Full Circle.
” Well, it seems the circle is coming full circle again, as now Google is the one set to drop the headphone jack from its next phone.this isn’t even the first time this circle has come full circle
This was so stupid of them.
Can someone tell me whether it is comfortably feasible to have a set-up of an Android phone with a MacBook. I don't mind the headphone jack removal. I've not used it on my phone for the last 1½ years.
This always happens in the industry, does anybody remember the commercial making fun of how big the screen of the phone was?
being the phone I was planning on getting next, this is deeply disappointing
The headphone jack has been removed since the pixel 2 back in 2017. Click bait much?
At this point I just prefer wireless earbuds and headphones. I still have a wired pair just in case but I hate fumbling with the cord.
There is no need to get rid of the headphone jack unless you ship a pair of wireless buds too. Cause you can't get someone used to something then take it away from them without a counter offer.
Google and Samsung are the same.. roasting Apple for what it did and follow it. Lame tech for lame people
there are still headphones with a headphone jack in 2022? 😅
1. Apple makes a stupid ass decision 2. Samsung & Google mock Apple for that 3. They made the same stupid ass decision
They had to, because they were thinking, 'dammit, why didn't we do that?' 🙄
And wonder why sony still can fit in the audio jack with 5000 mah battery and front facing speaker..
They didn't have one on the Pixel 4 either.
Very disappointed to know it's just 60 Hz display, could have brought atleast 90 Hz screen.
google is the best
Like 4 years later though
When apple dumped headphone jack ppl throw hate on them, but when google does it, it's revolutionary lol
So, The Verge this is click bait you want to write about? Really? Come on! We all know all phones will be soon without a headphone jack.
Weird
After Android users roasted Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Notch replacement it seems that Google's coming soon Pixel 7 Pro also has a familiar look. 🤔😂
I guess F those people who use the aux to connect to stereo systems w/o bluetooth.
same exact thing happened with floppy drives and CDROM drives
