A statewide shutdown, defined as limiting outside the home interaction to essential activity, will begin Thursday and last through at least April 30. "Given the unique situation in Florida, I'm going to be doing an executive order today directing all Floridians to limit movements and personal interactions outside the home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities,"Florida now has 6,741 confirmed coronavirus cases with 87 deaths and 900 hospitalizations.
DeSantis, by letting vacationers cavort on the beaches in crowds for days after responsible governors told their constituents to stay inside, keep social distance of 6 ft., etc. has made himself an aider and abettor of hundreds of deaths. He should be impeached at the very least!
Florida is already vacant everywhere I have looked. Even the beach has 'zero' people anywhere this weekend because I checked it.
I think if the pressure got to him this would be effective more immediately than 2 days from now. No sense of urgency on this whatsoever
