After the announcement that Aunt Jemima would get a total rebrand after over century of profiting off of the racist “mammy” archetype, more brands are reconsidering their problematic imagery

In regards to uncle Ben, I just imagine he was a guy that made some good darn rice recipes. That’s it. Never thought anything beyond that. Keep the white Quaker man but get rid of the black guy, right? 🙄
