But at least one Wall Street research firm says it's highly likely that the deal will be completed in the near future. We tend to agree.

Microsoft competitor Sony, which makes the Xbox competitor PlayStation, has challenged the deal, contending that Activision's wildly popular "Call of Duty" game alone is a reason to block.
