The revelations by the former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson strengthened a potential criminal case against Donald Trump. “Her testimony moved the needle,” a former senior Justice Department official said.

investigating the attack have accused Garland of moving too slowly. The Attorney General, who has declined to publicly comment on the case against Trump, has promised to “follow the facts wherever they lead.”to the committee, on Tuesday, by the twenty-six-year-old former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson regarding Trump’s actions and statements on and in the lead-up to January 6th strengthened a potential criminal case against him.

A rift appears to be opening between Congress and the D.O.J. Earlier this month, four top Justice Department officials sent a letter to the committee criticizing it for not sharing transcripts from the thousand-plus interviews it has conducted. “The Select Committee’s failure to grant the Department access to these transcripts complicates the Department’s ability to investigate and prosecute those who engaged in criminal conduct,” the letter stated.

Who’s needle?

Well, New Yorker, you seem to be uninformed. Hutchinson's 'testimony' has been debunked. You probably know that, but continue repeating your false narrative.

So the needle wasn’t sufficiently indicating DANGER before Hutchinson?

😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂 Yep! Moved the needle. Making people to vote for Trump even more.

Yes please

gtconway3d Hutchinson's testimony was Trump's Remagen.

gtconway3d Sure it did. We can’t wait for the Biden hearings after republicans take control. Real crimes. Not a partisan sham. Tons of evidence! Stay tuned.

Why didn't the DOJ already know this stuff? What the hell are they doing?

I don't care about the daily updates about how much closer Trump is to being prosecuted. But I do appreciate your continued reporting and processing of politics. (no sarcasm.)

TRUMPANZEE DEFLECTION TEAM, ASSEMBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE!!!!

January 6th Committee - 'Your telling me some guy told you that some guy told him? Perhaps we would ask one of those guys.. Na.. too much work and they might say something less scandalous. Lets go with your story. Third hand accounts are hot right now.'

What did America do that made it so special? Federation: in a history full of Unitary nations, America built a Union of States. Trouble is America abolished it in favor of a Unitary Republic, a system that is historically common, short lived, and dies violently.

Sure, America had a good thing going, a democratic republic is a good system while it lasts, but historically it never lasts, and when it falls, sheesh, you question if it was worth it... John Adams did warn you, but none of you actually read him...

I should know, I'm Australian, my country has both a Union of States and a Constitutional Monarchy, that's why we are so much better than every country on the planet...yes, even better than Denmark.

I don't think you all quite get it, you need either a balance of power, or you need a centralized authority that is willing to defend democracy, America currently has neither. You have no constitutional monarchy and you have no Union of States...

The British had a unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy, a fancy way of saying democracy by the grace of the Crown. America opted for Federation: the Union could do what the Crown did, afford democracy, but when the republic was centralized the balance of power was lost.

What made America think the system needed a federal two-party preferred? I can use deductive reasoning: the British used a two-party system, so America copied it, the problem with that is the British were Unitary, America was a Federation. It's a huge difference.

John Adams warned you not to apply a two-party preferred to the republic, you did it anyway, and now you sit here blaming all the symptom for the disease... How about you pull your heads out your own fucking arses and pay attention to what your 2nd President said?

Two questions: 1) Does anyone in America genuinely believe the system works? And: 2) How far up their own arse are they?

Really? Still on this? Let's not forget the system made Trump President, what kind of system would fail to notice that oversight? A thoroughly broken system, that's what kind...

BYW- The Secret Service has already refuted her story and is willing to testify in that regard. Stop the lies!

… err no it didn’t… no cross examination and key witnesses ( the driver & head of security detail who were in the car) not allowed to testify… wonder why… better to get hurt by the truth than comforted by ‘something to the effect’

Hearsay: LAW the report of another person's words by a witness, which is usually disallowed as evidence in a court of law. 'everything they had told him would have been ruled out as hearsay'

When i read the tweet, all I could think about was my grandparents hearing War of the Worlds on the radio. A lot of people believed it was real. Just like this story, some people think its real. Anyways, cassidy lied.

It was hearsay.

Lmfao give it up

and I can’t wait…

Despite testimony, it’s unclear if Donald Trump could face criminal chargesThe Justice Department has recently expanded its investigation into the Jan. 6 attack, targeting some of Trump’s allies in Washington and around the country who participated in his scheme to invalidate Biden’s victory. But prosecutors have not indicated whether they will bring a case against the former president. 👌 “reporting” on fiction (ie bullshite.) 🙄 Let me know when the secret service members actually testify...you know the ones that were actually there. I'm not interested in hearsay because it doesn't actually stand up in a court of law. It really is sad to think anyone believes any of this, it is all an attempt to distract from the current issues like our boarder and soaring prices. Democrats played you and you fell for it lol
