Mar. 17, 2021 -- A large majority of people in the United States who got the first dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna coronavirus vaccines also got the second dose, the CDC says.the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly ReportThree percent of people who got the first dose didn’t get the second dose within the prescribed time period -- 21 days after the first Pfizer shot and 28 days after the first Moderna shot.
The CDC analysis was conducted among 12.5 million people who got their first shot between Dec. 14 and Feb. 14 and for whom enough time had elapsed for them to get their second dose.
Why would anyone not go back for the 2nd shot? 95% effective. Don’t go halfway.
