On September 20, the world got a front row seat to Rihanna's Savage X Fenty NYFW Show when it began streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Fans promptly took to Twitter to declare their wigs snatched, souls inspired, and bank accounts emptied—all in the name of Rihanna.

There were performances from Normani, Halsey, Migos, and DJ Khaled, to name a few. There were high-profile models including Cara Delevingne, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, and Laverne Cox. Fans were even granted access to behind-the-scenes footage of the build-up to Savage X Fenty's second-ever fashion show.

But the major takeaway from the event, held at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on September 10, was the diversity showcased on the runway—and the empowerment it inspired in all watching. ELLE.com caught up with Rihanna in the early morning hours after her groundbreaking show, where she spoke to the significance of Savage X Fenty's inclusivity. "You belong in these pieces," she said. "You, me, trans women, women of all sizes, paraplegic women, all women are important women! All women belong here, on the biggest platform I can give them."

Per usual, Rihanna's mission registered with audiences. One Twitter user wrote, "When you watch a lingerie fashion show & think - ' I want to be a part of that. I could be a part of that'. When you see your body type looking sexy & confident. That's inclusivity. That is how we should all feel while watching a lingerie fashion show." Ahead, the best reactions to the Savage X Fenty Show.
