Green Day has been added to the star-studded iHeartRadio Music Festival 2019 lineup.
The group will join previously announced performers Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Cage the Elephant, Camila Cabello, Chance the Rapper, Def Leppard, French Montana, Halsey, Heart, H.E.R., Hootie & The Blowfish, Marshmello with Kane Brown, Miley Cyrus, Mumford & Sons, Steve Aoki with Darren Criss and Monsta X, Tim McGraw and Zac Brown Band.
The festival, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sept. 20 and 21. For fans at home, both nights of the show will broadcast live via nationwide iHeartMedia radio stations.The CW will also live-stream the event on the CW app and CWTV.com. The network will air a two-night television special on Oct. 2 and 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
On Tuesday, Green Day announced the epic Hella Mega global tour alongside fellow rock icons Fall Out Boy and Weezer, kicking off in 2020. For the latest Billboard cover story, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo came together to discuss the ambitious stadium tour. “This is the biggest rock ’n’ roll thing that’s going to happen that summer,” Wentz promised.
