Are any of these false beliefs about happiness actually preventing you from enjoying life or feeling good about yourself?

True happiness is never a constant in anyone’s universe. If we get to touch it for a little while, we are fortunate.

Being sad because you are not happy is not going to make you feel any better, but being kind and making the lives of others better will. The problem with "when-contracts" is that the finish line is a moving target, as life is ever-changing and so are your desires., and those beliefs can actually prevent us from feeling good about ourselves and enjoying life. Here are some of the things we believe and say to ourselves about happiness that can keep us from it.No, there is nothing wrong with you if you aren’t happy all the time. No one can be happy all the time.

Happiness isn’t always available, but goodness is always right where you put it.

Money fixes a lot of problems that cause unhappiness...

Compulsive beliefs are not 'happiness'.... Happiness is the LACK of negative emotions... Negative emotions are Emotional Charge... 'Happiness Is No Charge'... When you discharge negative emotions... Happiness can be restored... this is observable results.

I am gradually learning these.

Not trying to be controversial or rebellious, but what do you mean by “happy”. Everybody wants to be happy, but few if any can actually define happiness. Maybe that’s where we need to start…

Lesson learned, took a long time. Yes, all false beliefs.

“If I have lots of money, I will be happy.” Most of us will never get to test this one because most of us don't make anything like $253.00 a day.

I seem to be doing OK in the happiness department.

Put those negative beliefs in order. Start with the limiting belief that you feel is creating the most challenge in your life.Put them all in order from the belief having the greatest negative impact to least. It makes sense to spend your time where it's going to do the most good
