Here at Allure, there are few things we enjoy more than a beauty sale — and if you're reading this right now, chances are you're in the same boat. Welcome aboard! Luckily, beauty sales happen on a weekly basis. Sure, huge seasonal events such as Sephora's VIB and Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty Sale don't happen every day, but that's not to say there aren't some seriously good (and often under-the-radar) steals out there that are worth checking out.
Don't feel like doing an internet deep dive to find them? That's where we come in: Each week, we'll do the digging and keep you up-to-date on the best deals and discounts going down. Now, without further ado...
1. Illamasqua
It's not often that Illamasqua throws a sale, so we're thrilled to see the brand on this week's roster. The products are top-notch and made for a diverse range of skin tones. From April 29 through May 9 shoppers can save 20 percent on single products. The discounts have already been applied, so all you'll need to do is fill your cart. Or, newbies to Illamasqua can save 25 percent on their first purchase by using the code ILLANEW at checkout. Keep in mind that you can't combine the two discounts.
The coverage that Skin Base Foundation delivers is really impressive. The lightweight base is buildable to suit your coverage needs, and it's available in 26 shades that span a solid range of skin tones.
Illamasqua's Colour Correcting Bronzer is a pretty unique product. Essentially, it's a two-in-one color corrector that balances out uneven skin tones while adding warmth and contour to the face. The shade Fire is ideal for darker skin as it offers an orangey tint that neutralizes blueness in skin.
Lips in need of a hydration boost can benefit from the Hydra Lip Tint Mocktail. The two-tone stick has apricot and peach hazel oil to moisturize dry lips as it leaves a sheer wash of color behind.
2. Christophe Robin
We've shared some of our favorite Christophe Robin products when they've been discounted at other retailers, but through May 10, you can save 15 percent on full-size products directly on the brand's website. Plus, when you spend upward of $80, you'll get a bundle of Christophe Robin best-sellers. Perfect timing for any last-minute Mother's Day shopping.
The prickly pear seed oil and tucuma butter at the heart of the Regenerating Serum With Prickly Pear Oil are rich in hair nourishing fatty and amino acids. Slather it on and hair will feel stronger, more hydrated, and not weighed down. The serum also acts as a heat protectant up to 440 degrees Fahrenheit.
Break down product buildup or heavy oils with the Cleansing Volume Paste With Pure Rassoul Clay and Rose Extracts. When worked into the roots, the paste turns into a foam to help add volume and clear away gunk without stripping away the much-needed natural oils.
No matter what the state of your hair at the moment, the Hydrating Shampoo Bar With Aloe Vera will give hair what it needs. The sulfate-free solid has olive and coconut oils to deeply moisturize hair, whether you wash weekly or every day.
3. Eyeko
Even if mask-wearing is becoming a little less necessary, you can still make your lids and lashes the center of attention with Eyeko's eye-centric offerings. Take 20 percent off your product picks until May 10.
Eyeko's Galactic Lid Gloss doles out a mesmerizing high-shine sparkle that you can wear as a liner, all over your lids, or right at the inner corners. The creamy color comes in five shades. Finish off the shimmery look with a few swipes of the Black Magic Mascara. The curved brush gets right to the base of the lash line to fully coat, lift, and curl lashes.
Once you're done and ready to take it all off, try the Off in a Blink Biphasic Eye Makeup Remover. Shake the two-in-one liquid that's been infused with conditioning aloe vera and grapefruit extracts to break down waterproof makeup in seconds.
4. Chi
Get a jump on Mother's Day gifting while Chi products and hot tools are on sale. Between now and May 10 (Mother's Day is May 9) save yourself 30 percent sitewide with the code LOVEMOM. Treat your mom to a new flatiron or curling iron or put together a bundle of styling products to go along with the tools she already has.
Wash-and-style day will feel extra special with The Sparkler, a flatiron that's been covered from tip to cord with over 3,000 crystals. The quick-heating, one-inch iron is limited-edition, so grab one while it's discounted.
Any head of hair exposed to too much heat will benefit from the Silk Infusion. The leave-in treatment replenishes dry, brittle hair with silk, wheat, and soy proteins. The conditioner also works as a heat protectant to shield against future damage.
Give longer hair a tight or loose spiral with the Spin N Curl iron in Rose Gold. The rotating barrel heats up to 410 degrees, has adjustable heat-up times for three different hair textures, and an auto-shut-off feature in case you accidentally leave it turned on.
5. Dyson
Anytime a Dyson product is on sale, we're all over it — and today, friends, is our lucky day. Save a cool $40 bucks on the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer when you shop it from Best Buy. What's even better is that this deal includes a wide-tooth comb attachment, which is not only $40 on its own, but handy for smoothing textured and curly hair types. There's no telling when the bundle will go back to its regular price, so get yourself one before it does.
6. Sephora
There's a certain level of joy and calm that comes with browsing Sephora's sale section. It never disappoints. This week, we've spotted some major markdowns on some of our favorite brands including Pat McGrath Labs, Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez, and Tom Ford. If you're up for a makeup-kit refresh, get to browsing.
Three Pat McGrath Labs lip products for only $13? That's a steal you don't want to pass up. The Mini Lust Lip Gloss Trio comes in two color palettes: a set of pinks called Skin Show Nudes and this more rose-hued option called Sunset Seduction.
Dominique Cosmetics' Celestial Storm Palette is a spring and summer eye-makeup dream. The vibrant mix of matte and shimmer shades, which can be used wet or dry, makes for endless possibilities when creating eye looks.
While shimmer is top-of-mind, get yourself a bottle of Sol de Janiero Glowmotions Glow Body Oil. The illuminating moisturizer comes in three shades, has fine — not chunky — sparkle, and is laced with hydrating cupuaçu butter, acai, and coconut oils.
7. Pear Nova
If mom still isn't comfortable doing regular salon mani-pedi appointments, treat her to some nail polishes from Pear Nova to use at home. The brand is offering 25 percent off sitewide between April 29 and May 2. Just add code MOM25 at checkout for the discount to apply.
The All Thai'd Up Classic Collection includes four polishes in a range of nudes, pink, and a deep berry. For a more lasting finish try the Trip to Tulum Gel Collection. The set comes with four vibrant shades and one soft pink, all of which need to be set under a LED lamp. Once the color is set, treat the skin around the nail with the antioxidant-enriched Growth Green Tea Cuticle Oil.
