In response to conservative censorship efforts, The ReidOut Blog will be sharing lists of banned books you should absolutely read. Trust us — not the proudly ignorant conservatives trying to force America’s kids into a stupor. The book tells the story of Pecola Breedlove, an 11-year-old Black girl in Ohio who prays for the blond hair and blue eyes she believes will make her beautiful.

Really? And in a local 4th grade public school kids are to read 3 separate books on what minorities have been thru and contributed yet not a book let alone even a mention on any of the European peoples & immigrants that came here and helped build this nation.
