Bala is comfortable throughout the workout and actually intensifies it as well — I thought, 1 lb, no way will I truly be able to tell the difference... WRONG. I often have to take these off halfway into my class because it's that much more challenging. I also travel a ton for work and these are easily packable and great to utilize in my hotel room/gym if I can't make it to a workout class. This is now the second color I have purchased and could not be happier with the product. How someone did not think of this sooner I will never know... But I am glad because Bala Bangles did it right.
