There is a big gap between public and private school students in the survey, with 47% of public school students saying they have not attended a class, compared with just 18% of private school students.
Jose Luis Vilson, a middle school teacher in the Washington Heights section of New York City, says those findings echo what he's seeing among his students."You think about the vast majority of the kids, they're going through their own levels of stress," he said.
BECAUSE THEY NEED DISCIPLINE TO DO IT! Sitting at home in front of a device that has easy access to games and porn is not even close to the ideal set up for education! Having parents who will ride herd and whoop their asses if they don't focus on homework is also crucial.
Now online learning is racist got it
No,,,, they're worried about being set back a grade because of this.

💔
When attending regular school, 99% of teen-agers do not have access to their phones.
And I parked my Taxi on Campus losing money$$$$$ to get my education. And had to pay back student loan

Children should turn in a bill for 180 days x 13 years that adults have used them to make a paycheck and gov forcing them so they don't have to pay them to job train. 50/50 custody w/state. Pay them for their childhood stolen to benefit adults.
Many schools are still trying to get it together and school systems in my area are still ensuring that all kids have access to laptops and internet. Our county starts 4/20 while county over starts online learning 4/13.
For the most part American internet access is overpriced and sub-par bandwidth compared to more modern thinking nations.
