According to data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), six of the 10 deadliest driving days occur in summer. In addition, despite gas prices hitting record highs, summer driving has nearly rebounded to pre-pandemic levels. All of this sets the stage for more tickets, accidents and breakdowns in the months ahead.
