Gal Gadot says she will never work with Joss Whedon again after Justice League. The Israeli model and actress first gained international fame for her role as Gisele in the Fast & Furious franchise, though she is best known for her portrayal of Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe. Gadot's first film as Diana Prince was Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, followed by her self-titled, ultra-successful solo debut, Wonder Woman, in 2017.
That same year also saw the release of the DCEU's first big team-up movie, Justice League, which experienced an infamously tumultuous production process. The project suffered a major setback about halfway through filming when Snyder stepped down as director due to a personal tragedy and creative difference with Warner Bros. The Avengers director Joss Whedon was brought on to replace him and the two filmmakers' competing visions are now considered to be the main reason for the failure of Justice League, something which the Snyder Cut improved on. Aside from the quality of the film, Whedon has been accused of abusive and inappropriate behavior on the Justice League set from a number of stars.
Whedon recently broke his silence on these allegations in an interview with Vulture, denying specific reports that he threatened Gadot's career on the Justice League set, chalking it all up to a misunderstanding because "English is not her first language." Gadot responded to that denial, saying she "understood perfectly" and vows to never work with Whedon again and suggests that her peers do the same. Check out her full response below:

If Gadot's accusations against Whedon on the set of Justice League are true, it's completely understandable why she would never want to work with him again. Though Whedon has now denied Gadot's claims and instead reversed the blame onto the Justice League cast, his defense isn't likely to go over well. The sheer amount of accusations against Whedon does not reflect well on him either, as Cyborg actor Ray Fisher has also accused him of unprofessional behavior on set. Aside from Justice League, Whedon has now been accused of similar behavior on past television projects like Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel.
It remains to be seen if Gadot's peers will heed her warning and refuse to work with him. Whedon recently stepped down from his role on the HBO show, The Nevers, and is not currently working on any known projects for the future. If he does decide to try and stage a comeback post-Justice League, especially in the director's chair, it might be difficult to find actors willing to work with someone who has been accused of serial unprofessionalism.
