According to the Texas Lottery, a Highland Village resident has claimed the jackpot for the Jan. 1 Lotto Texas drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at a RaceTrac on 1809 Justin Road in Flower Mound.

According to the Texas Lottery, the cash value option was selected at the time of purchase and the winner, who wants to remain anonymous, will receive $12,660,841.60 before taxes.
