Man killed, another injured after truck flips over on I-20 in Arlington, police say

Police said neither of the men were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

A man was killed and another injured after a truck struck a guardrail and flipped early Sunday on Interstate 20 in Arlington, police said.

Arlington police responded to the crash about 2:45 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-20, near Park Springs Boulevard.

Investigators said the Nissan pickup truck veered off the road, crashed into a guardrail and rolled over. The 34-year-old driver of the truck, who has not been identified, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead by first responders.

A 24-year-old passenger was taken to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
