Stop everything, Christmas has come early, etc.: Adele officially announced a Las Vegas residency on Tuesday. Beginning in January, the 30 songstress and vocal powerhouse will star in “Weekends With Adele” at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, right in the heart of the Sin City strip.

The residency, which ends on April 16, will mark Adele’s first live concerts since the chart-topping release of 30 and her stirring One Night Only special-slash-Oprah interview. As of now, her only other performances scheduled in support of the album will come on July 1 and 2 at London’s Hyde Park. Adele follows in the footsteps of past divas like Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, and Britney Spears, but her big announcement still feels like a glow up for the Vegas residency. One of the reigning queens of pop music, in a fairly intimate, 4,300-seat venue, cracking jokes, chatting with the crowd, and bringing the house down? Let the battle for tickets begin.
