Peter Andre is the latest celebrity to reveal he suffers from recurring nightmares.

Earlier this month pop star Ed Sheeran said he dreams a gunman shoots him in the head every night.

And just a few days before Halloween, Aussie Pete has admitted he has a nightmare that is even weirder than Ed’s.

Writing in his latest column for New magazine, the singer said: “I used to have this really weird recurring nightmare that went on for two years. It was of two thumbs that got married.”

He describes the male thumb as a ‘gangster’ who wore a bow tie, while the female thumb looked like the pride of Frankenstein.

Peter continued: “They would walk past this haunted house and there would be all this lightning - and to top it off they had lots of smaller thumbs following them.”

The Mysterious Girl hitmaker said the nightmare creeped him out so much he would wake up in a cold sweat.

Even though he no longer gets visited in his dreams by the thumb couple, he’s still keen to know what it means.

“I know it’s really strange and I’d love to know what it means. If anyone has any intel please get in touch with me!” he added.

Peter said he was currently awaiting the outcome of a PCR test as he’s been feeling sick recently.

The I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! star was due to perform in a touring production of Grease but had to cancel hours before he was due to go on stage.

The 48-year-old has had a bad cough and concerned fans by saying he’s the “most ill he’s been in the past three years”.

In the exchange, which was accidentally aired on Instagram Live by Peter’s daughter Princess, Pete is heard repeatedly saying he doesn’t want to let the fans down.

But road manager Carl Machin chimed in to advise Peter to rest for the evening rather than get worse and have to sit out the whole week.

"I know what you're saying and I applaud you for it, but one you look ill, two you sound awful and three you have to sing live vocals," he told the star.

"And also you're going to be close to cast members, you've got to think how you'd feel if you gave two or three cast members what you've got and they have to have time off."

Peter has since said that he didn't think he has Covid, because the "coughing fits and aches" he was suffering were different from when he had the virus before. He has also been double jabbed.

As well as the Grease show, Peter was also forced to miss out on his son Junior's music launch.
