She is elegant, graceful and frequently a topic of discussion in rap songs, like in Meek Mill's 2018 hit song "Going Bad" where he touts "I got Lori Harvey on my wishlist." She's the daughter of a successful comedian and TV-show host, Steve Harvey, and fashion and beauty icon, Marjorie Harvey. But with 3.8 million Instagram followers and counting, she's also finding her own place in the spotlight. Possibly also thanks in part to her romantic relationship with Black Panther actor Michael B Jordan. It’s not difficult to appreciate her beauty. Whether all natural, or in full-glam, she always looks effortlessly put together with her trademark look: a slick bun with baby hairs. In fact, she recently appeared as the first guest on Season 8 of hit the talk show The Real where she shared that she'll be cashing in on your covetable complexion with a skincare line, SKNxLH.

In her interview, Lori shares some advice that her mom gave to her on how to navigate life. The celebrity spilled that she was told to “Be confident, be sure in yourself. Don’t let anyone take you off your pedestal, don’t let anyone tilt your crown, and go after what you want.” Great advice! We all know that it’s easy to be confident when you love the skin that you’re in. Lori’s got a solution for that, too! She announced on The Real, that she has an upcoming skincare line, SKNxLH.

In a recent Instagram post, the celebrity finally spilled the beans on the release date of her skincare line. The line is officially dropping on Friday, October 22! She said in her post "I've been working on my skincare line for almost 3 years now and this journey has been nothing short of amazing." The long awaited release of her line is sure to build lots of anticipation.

She tests her products on her boyfriend.

Over the summer, the socialite shared with Vogue that she tests her products on Michael B. Jordan. She spilled “I test all of my products first on myself, and then on my boyfriend.” Apparently, he is now also a skincare fanatic too!

She opts for products for sensitive skin.

One of the motivating factors for her skincare line is her own sensitive skin. Lori said in her The Real interview “my skin is so sensitive, it was really hard to use a lot of products on the market.” For her new line she stated, “I wanted to make sure that I included ingredients in my skincare line that were for all skin types, but especially catered to people that have sensitive skin.” People with sensitive skin, rejoice!

She is a strong proponent of skincare.

During her conversation with the hosts of The Real, Lori got personal and discussed what helped inspire her to create her own line. She shared that she used to dabble in her mom’s skincare as a child saying, “I’ve always been into skincare since I was a little girl.” No wonder her skin has always seemed to have been glowing!

She swears by this acne zapping wand.

In a recent article interview with New York Magazine, the celebrity dished: “One of my best friends swore by this device. I’ve been doing it for at least three years.” She shared with the magazine that “it’s great for digestion and inflammation and is a good source of antioxidants.”
