Angelina Jolie brought five out of six of her children with her to the Eternals premiere last night, and the entire family dressed in vintage or old looks of Jolie's. Zahara, Jolie's 16-year-old daughter, even got to wear her mother's 2014 Oscars dress by Elie Saab Couture. Jolie explained to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet that the family upcycled: My kids are all mixed with vintage, and in my old Oscars dress,” Jolie said. “We did all vintage and upcycled my old stuff.”

Jolie was joined by Zahara; 20-year-old Maddox in a black blazer, top and pants; 15-year-old Shiloh in a tan asymmetrical dress; and 13-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Vivienne opted for a white dress and matching cardigan, while Knox wore a dark green blazer, skirt, and pants, per ET. Jolie herself wore an olive green Balmain dress with vintage Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Jolie's second oldest son, 17-year-old Pax, was absent from the event.

Jolie talked to ET about her kids' reactions to seeing her in costume for the film. “Would you wanna see your mother wearing that?” Jolie asked. “I don't know, they haven't seen the movie, but your mom walks in with a gold spandex outfit and gold hair, they're like, ‘What do you do for a living? What are you? Get back in your robe.’”

Jolie spoke to ELLE for its Women in Hollywood issue about withholding plot details for Eternals from her kids and touched on their shock seeing her dressed for her part as Thena. Keeping details of the film secret was tricky, but one thing made it slightly easier: “I think, in part, there were things we still didn’t understand, so that helped,” Jolie said.

Her kids also didn't try that hard to get plot secrets out of her: “It’s hard,” Jolie said. “I thought my kids were going to press me, but they haven’t. I think my kids were still getting over the shock of me walking out in that outfit.”
