Chanel ambassador Jennie graced Paris with her presence this morning for the fashion house's spring/summer 2022 show. The Blackpink singer was dressed stylishly in Chanel for the event, of course. The K-pop star stepped out in a matching red set with a sleeveless red crop top and mini skirt. Layered Chanel necklaces completed the look, along with a red quilted Chanel bag and black bow sandal heels. Jennie wore her hair sleek straight and down.
Jennie has shared glimpses of her Paris trip on her Instagram the past couple days, including the night out she had with her Blackpink bandmate and Dior ambassador Jisoo. “Oh did we miss this🌄 Date night with @sooyaaa__ in Paris,” Jennie captioned the gallery of images of them together in the French capitol.
Jennie spoke to ELLE last September about the girls' close friendship. “We all lived together since the beginning,” Jennie said. “After our training time was over, we’d go home together and order food, talk about how scary the teachers were, how the work was too much. And just like how kids at school become friends, we just got along. It was very easy—we didn’t really have to try.”
The Blackpink girls all rep different French fashion houses: In addition to Jennie's Chanel ties and Jisoo's Dior ones, Rosé is an ambassador for Saint Laurent, and Lisa is an ambassador for Céline. “Fashion definitely empowers us as much as music does,” Jennie told ELLE.
