Ferne McCann says she would love to expand her family to give her daughter, Sunday, a sibling.

The 31-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star is proud mother to her three-year-old daughter – who she shares with jailed ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins.

While Ferne has been unlucky in love and has seen her recent relationships end after a few months, she says she is hopeful of one day meeting a man who can become part of her family - and help her expand it.

Ferne has been reflecting on her life and her future after it was revealed she is worth £5.5 million – having amassed her fortune thanks to her ITV show First Time Mum, endorsement deals with brands and after launching a fitness app called Embodyment.

Asked by The Sun if she wanted more children in her future, the mum-of-one said: “Definitely. Sunday is my best mate and settling into school. I would love her to have siblings, she is my blessing.”

Ferne went on to explain that any man she dates in the future needs to be serious about having a family.

She said: “I used to want someone for me, but whoever gets with me next, whoever the lucky man is, will be to make a family. There is no more dating for me.

“Sunday and I are a package, we come as one, I want a family. I’m not putting pressure on it, good things take time. It’s really important that the next guy who enters our life is the right one. I’m not going on a string of dates.”

Sunday’s father, Arthur, is currently behind bars serving a 20 year prison sentence following his involvement in an acid attack in 2017.

Ferne opened up about her break up last month, saying “It was really weird how it happened. It actually happened really abruptly

“That was what was such a shock, it was literally like, right, that's it. I took the weekend to lick my wounds and then it came out in the press.”

She went on to explain how difficult dating can be – and how upsetting her break up with Jack was.

She said: “It's kind of a double-edge sword. This is the industry we're in. I sometimes feel moving into any relationship it's a bit of a hindrance.

“You've got to have someone that's on board. I'm not saying come and be in the public eye. But every guy that I'm with is either hiding behind a menu or saying "sorry you're not on brand for me!"'

Ferne went on to reveal that her ex-boyfriend told her she wasn’t ‘on brand’ enough for him.

“That's what Jack said. It was really upsetting,” the honest star shared.

While earlier this month Ferne said she had turned to God following her break up.

She said: “I've found God. Mr G is loyal, he listens to me - he's the perfect match.

“I've had an epiphany. This higher power that I've been meditating and communicating with and praying to is God. And I think it's your interpretation of that higher power.”
